An interim feeding prosthesis for newborn patient with cleft palate: A case report

Cleft palate and lips are the most common congenital anomalies affecting new born. It can occur isolated or together in various combination and/or along with other deformities. Most difficulty due to this type of newborn children’s while feeding, which because complete absence oral seal required during sucking milk. Early surgical intervention can’t be given such patient till age 6 months that time these treated interim types feeding appliances. This case report present a 2-month-old neonate born cleft palate, assisted appliance made polymathy methacrylate polymer (PMMA).
